You will realize that most of the tips are applicable for any subject learning. Here are some headings I extracted from the web page:

  • Find out what kind of learner you are
If you recognize your strengths, you can use them to work more effectively. Work out what your preferred learning style is and use it to your advantage.
  • Work at your own pace
  • Why not learn with someone else?
  • Don’t get stuck by a word you don’t know
  • Language learning is also about intuition
  • Speak, speak, speak!
  • Read aloud whenever possible
  • Build up your vocabulary
  • Get the right tools

And most of all, have fun!
